In 2004, Pamela Bannos (Senior Lecturer, WCAS Art Theory & Practice) purchased an unmarked box of twenty glass negatives off Ebay.  The only information the seller could provide was that the box had been found in a basement in Brooklyn.  Bannos began an investigation to locate the image's geographic and historical point of origin.  This web-based project recreates that investigation and explores the area visible in the photograph, both at the time it was taken and in 2004.  NUAMPS helped develop the site and implement interactive elements.
