MacIver and his team are conducting research on the interplay of biomechanics and the nervous system: neuromechanics, neuroethology, robotics, and simulation, using weakly electric fish as a model system. This QTVR site, photographed, stitched, and designed by NUAMPS, feature zooming views from various points in the lab, including the "fish room", as well as Professor MacIver's office. Academic Technologies was employed to design and implement the online version of the encyclopedia, with NUAMPS focusing on user interface, content design, and multimedia production as well as the overall appearance of the site.
